About

Do you like mindfucks?

If so, then here’s a tip: The most consistent way I have found to produce this satisfying feeling is by looking at things from a different perspective, leaving aside all emotions and biases that cloud the view.

In an academic setting, this has led me to focus my graduate studies on the area of behavioral finance. By (re)introducing psychology into human economic behavior, this field is burying the homo economicus alive. The thereby induced reshaping of my cognitive mind map reliably produced the desired feeling mentioned above.

No matter the topics of the articles you will find on here, the replication of this experience is the common theme tying them all together. And if that doesn’t scratch your itch, being less passionate about your own opinions and instead practicing to put oneself in someone else’s shoes also represents a critical step towards mutual understanding and empathy.
